I spent my whole life in Dallas, where I began learning life first from my parents through their nurturing and loving guidance, and then yet while still impressionable I realized the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and accepted Him as my personal Savior. Then, I began my formal education in the Dalllas Independent School District.
Along the way in life, I met a handsome man, all my heart desire and united in Holy matrimony. I loved him dearly, with all my heart, and together, we were blessed with four children.
I loved, I was loved, and I felt that the friendships and relationships I have shared over the years were cherished by those who knew me. I enjoyed spending time with my family.
As hard it seeems, I loved each of you but my Savior, who has beckoned me to come to Heaven, loved me more and after a courageous battle with receiving life support hemodialysis, and 45 years with you, "I Finished Early..." Do not worry, my sister, Pam Lee; stepsister, Valerie Means; stepbrother, Ronald Means, and many others greeted me upon my arrival. The weeping may endure for a night, but joy will come in the morning.
I will live on because I leave to keep my memory alive: my parents, James and Grace Means; children, Sheniquia Wynn, Lafoye Wynn, Quincy Wynn, and Shatera Lofton (Dominique); brothers, Edwin Kirven and Kenneth Kirven (Elizabeth); stepsisters, Veranda Washington and Vickie Polk; seven grandchildren along with a caravan of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
